Comic Strips is a community for those who love comic stories.
The rules are simple:
- The post can be a single image, an image gallery, or a link to a specific comic hosted on another site (the author's website, for instance).
- The comic must be a complete story.
- If it is an external link, it must be to a specific story, not to the root of the site.
- You may post comics from others or your own.
- If you are posting a comic of your own, a maximum of one per week is allowed (I know, your comics are great, but this rule helps avoid spam).
- The comic can be in any language, but if it's not in English, OP must include an English translation in the post's 'body' field (note: you don't need to select a specific language when posting a comic).
- Politeness.
- Adult content is not allowed. This community aims to be fun for people of all ages.

Forget coffee, this will wake you up. There's nothing like dropping the wrong database scheme on a lazy Monday morning.
If you can, always set the title of whatever window you're working on to capital bold letters, preferably red, saying PRODUCTION SERVER - DON'T FUCK IT UP. This has saved my dumbass a few times when I looked up before hitting enter.
I use IntelliJ for this and my prod connection is red, has warning symbols and it's read only. I can switch on write mode if necessary, but it will prompt for it. Saves me a lot of stress.
What's the setting to make it in read only?

It's pretty easy to set up but very helpful

On SecureCRT I make the backgrounds of production devices a rosy tint so I have something to remind me as I'm working. If it's a core switch, fire engine red background and neon green letters. An added benefit to this is that I want to get off the core devices as soon as possible.
