The world just had the hottest week on record, according to preliminary data. It follows the hottest June on record, with unprecedented sea surface temperatures and record low Antarctic sea ice extent.

The majority of life ? lmao, nope

The current world average temperature is around 14-15°C.

During the Cambrian explosion, where the amount of different lifeforms on earth increased dramatically, it was 20-25°C.

And we're not even going to die off anyway. Some currently populated areas are just going to get depopulated real fast, that's all. And we're going to build new cities in different places that were too cold for us before, or maybe underground. Some lifeforms will die off because they were too fragile, others will appear and thrive. Same as it's always happened.
