Anyone know if there are any concrete chance to have a discount on the console in these days?
My understanding is that the Steam Deck itself is sold at a loss, so if there is a sale it's likely to be only 10%, like it was last sale
They had higher discounts on higher tier devices last sale, but I think it's more cost effective to just buy the lowest tier and a third party ssd.
It depends on the tier of deck. The lowest tier is sold at a loss, but after than steam decks generate some profit
I bought the base model on sale and got a 1TB Samsung SSD off AliExpress and in total it was cheaper than the 512GB model

No, it does not. If you damage a component while you've got it opened up, that would void the warranty, but opening it up and replacing parts without breaking anything does not void the warranty.
Huh. I thought just opening it voided that for some reason. I was misinformed.
Yep as my 64gb ssd is filling just from downloading and redownloading vulcan shaders every time an micro sd card is inserted with steam games.
