Kind of. People say an action regarding a product is only directly linked to an industry and the prosperity of the owner of a business when they care about the things involved.
That's entirely wrong. Anyone saying the only actions taken regarding a product are tied to an industry or to make money isn't considering a large number of industries, charities, or religions. That's a major capitalistic take to the point of diluting any humanity in the creation of a product.
