Pretty much as the title says, just wondered if it was possible for me to stop listening to a playlist on my Mac and seamlessly pick it up on my iPhone, rather than starting the playlist again?

I have wished this for years now, the most seamless experience I’ve gotten from Apple Music is picking where to play music from my Apple Watch, but this is not the same as what you’re saying, it does not transition your currently playing song to other devices, just lets you control playback on other devices.

That’s a shame. Seems like it’d be reasonably straightforward to implement on iOS 17 given the new stuff they’re doing with AirDrop.

I know Spotify has had this for a while and is probably one of the items highest on peoples’ wishlists. Maybe one day.

We can hope, right?
