But in the same time they also fear accidentally dating a trans person.
Terfs also believe that a bunch of transwomen and cis men would be on a boat, but then the boat will crash and all of them would be on a deserted island isolated, but then the whole world except them will die and the people on the island wouldn't be able to repopulate the earth. (Actual story I've heard to justify transphobia)
Why would a bunch of cis men and trans women be on a boat and no cis women? The larger the group, the more you'd think that this group is preventing cis women or trans men from joining the boat. Also it seems to imply the speaker does not even acknowledge the existence of trans men. Why would you want to not have cis women or trans men on the boat? Also, why would one think that some catastrophe could occur that destroys all of humanity and the people marooned on this boat are more likely to survive in spite of having fewer resources than the interconnected human network?
So many wierd things that they overlook.
Trans men don't fit into the fantasy they use to defend their bigotry of trans women jumping them in the toilet so oc they don't factor into outlandish fantasy strawman scenarios like the above.
Yeah, transmen basically don't exist according to transphobes... Except when when they need to use them as an example of men having harder lives. I've noticed that in a discussion about the usage of the word "birthing person" and transphobes assumed the word is used for transwomen.
