The chip in the Series 6 is essentially identical to the one in the Series 9 and all in between. Your explanation works for a lot of cases, but not this one.
Series 9 is a new chip
Is it? Thank fuck. That was an inexcusable lifetime for a wearable chip.
Tell me about it! My old series 6 was getting really rough battery life (hence my big post about it). Series 9 feels really good. These batteries don't do too well after three years...
