I wish this was true, but most climate change deniers will never acknowledge that climate change is happening. Even if they do they will never acknowledge it’s because of human activity.

Human race is going to suffer immensely because of the greed of a small percentage of super rich assholes, politicians and the stupidity of half of humanity.

I fear what kind of world will my children live in when they become adults.

I actually disagree. They will continue to deny it until it becomes too big to deny.

Then they will turn to ecofascism and claiming that there's not enough resources for everyone and only they have the smarts and tools to dole out the resources to the poor dirt people that they don't give a rats ass about. They won't change anything, they'll still be ready to destroy the environment provided it benefits them, but they'll use is as a tool keep people down.

The second it becomes convenient, they will use ecological devastation as just one more tool in their toolbox for controlling the narrative and controlling people.

You are probably correct... As soon as they can't deny it it will likely go from "not real" to "the libs fault" so fast it'll make our heads spin...

I just wonder how long it’ll take before it becomes unlivable. Some places will avoid it longer like the UK and colder climates, but just watching the news snippets this morning about all the records being broken for hot temps all over the world while getting the oil changed proved to be a weird and ironic moment.

India in particular is so close to wet bulb temperatures over large parts of the country it's insane scary. I'm just dreading the day I wake up to half of India dead in the streets from overheating.
