Fuck that shit. We have that in Sweden and it turned a fully functioning train system into a gurgutated mess.

I mean, if the option is between a private Monopoly and a collection of private companies, I'll take the second option.

Here in Germany Deutsche bahn used to be good before it got mostly privatized and for profit. Plus because they control the infrastructure, they make it difficult for upstarts to use the network.

Deutsche Bahn is 100% owned by the German State and everyone has the same conditions for track access 🤦‍♂️

Oop! Look at me making fake information on the internet. I guess I assumed it was mostly private because it's an aktiengessellschaft.

I have seen anecdotal information about how information about platforms and such is sent at the last minute to competitors, but that might be just regular Deutsche bahn operations
