Hello

I am happy on this instance and 2 other federated instances that take good care of the culture by not federating with some other instances.

Yet sometimes I wonder what the "firehose of trash" would be like if I would see really everything and am wondering if there is a "catch all" Instance that is not limiting anything at all?

I would like to take a peek down the abyss for once.

Perhaps that’s what you get without defederation :)

But I say that with my eternal emphasis that each user should be empowered to shape their own experience here, as much as practical, even if that includes an experience that some of us might view as cesspoolish.

Yes, I also understand that it's something that's unavoidable with fediverse. That response was made in shock when I visited the site, hopefully there will be ways to block whole site on per-user basis, rather than leaving it to admins.
