I really like CGPgray, except for like, 10 years ago, when he made a video about why the british monarchy is necessary and useful.

He never says they're necessary but does explain how they're useful. Is the royal family not actually bringing in more money for the government than they're using?

He really likes useless things and uneccesary, pedantic order. Monarchy is where the two meet.
