If you don't like the new discord update then why don't you just use the many discord alternatives

What discord alts would you recommend? Genuine question. Bit of a blind spot for me right now.

I used to use discord, but have switched to matrix since then, which is a better and libre alternative.

There's quite a couple out there

Matrix is one which another commenter mentioned I've heard it's ight also guilded

And a few others for one revolt.chat looks quite decent
