This may seem kind of stupid but I am kind of stupid, is there a list somewhere of phrases that are stupid or insensitive racially or gender biased? (lemmy.dbzer0.com)

I just got up from conversation with a couple of older black men, that I said "well I got to go back to work and start cracking the whip." And it occurred to me then that it was probably a really insensitive stupid thing to say.

Sadly, it hadn't occurred to me until it's already said.

Canadians are called american cause they're in NORTH AMERICA, not cause US has a monopoly on the classification american.

The rest I'm outta energy to argue but essentially yeah don't use blanket terms

You understand things in time happen in a linearr order right? Ie if someone hurt me then I hurt them, they're the bad guy. I hurt someone and they hurt me 🫢 an entirely different scenario

Maybe you should take some time off the internet, come back, read how racist you sound in this thread, and then take some more time off, because you clearly are having issues.
