Here is an alternative Piped link(s): https://piped.video/vuY_bs69dX0

Piped is a privacy-respecting open-source alternative frontend to YouTube.

I'm open-source, check me out at GitHub.

Please stop. If people want to use your service, they will post links to your service.

You can block bots in your settings page.

It's not a simple matter of just blocking bots from my view. It's the fact that this bot is pushing a platform that is essentially freebooting videos from YouTube, except with worse functionality. They are using Lemmy as advertising, likely so that they can start pushing their own "Piped original" videos in the future. You know, before YouTube cracks down on this sort of site and removes their capabilities.

And everybody here is falling for it.

Thanks for the concern, but I'm not as bothered about it as you are, and I'm willing to bet most other people aren't bothered either. You can block this individual bot if it's a problem for you.

I have bots blocked and they still show up in comments. I think it only blocks bots from main posts.

I don't personally mind this particular bot, but most of them are annoying so I block them all.
