Other than FOSS games for android/ emulators, is there a way to get games that are privacy respecting and free. I've seen versions of games, including paod games on piracy sites and I wonder if they are infact better. My niblings love usimg my phone for games but havent liked anything yet, tolerate lato and towerjumper at most. Also towerjumper hasnt had an update since 2019, should I uninstall it?

Well, in first place being this a Piracy community, from my own experience I can tell you that most cracked games have trackers and that shit removed by the modder, so you can considered them "privacy respected" at some point, yep, even Minecraft.

And another option is using the IzzyOnDroid repo, it have alot of games that aren't on F-Droid main repo.

Yes the tracker removal was what I was concerned about, is there a particular site thats good for cracked games or 1337x all the way

Mobilism is good for games/apps. Most of the apks have trackers removed and have access to paid content. If you're particularly concerned you could block them with a firewall

How to block them with firewall?

You can use any open source firewall app available on F-Droid, such as Rethink DNS. The way that it works it's as a VPN blocking outbout/inbout connections.

I personally use adguard to block connections whilst also doubling up as ad/tracker blocker. You can also route different apps through a proxy network such as tor if you want certain apps to be more private
