if you want to view exposed 'karma', you'll nee to pick a different product than lemmy. id suggest kbin/mbin.

Noted. It was just a funny innocent thing tbh but I see, is a spicy topic in the lemmy community
they really want to be this alternative/off-ramp to reddit but dont really want to provide the features that draw users to reddit. i get it, some of those features are abused to some extent.
i feel this feature should be instance-specific. the developers shouldnt make that call. the instance admin should be able to enable what the community wants. if lemmy.world hates karma, groovy, but let lemmy.ca show it if they want.
totally agree on that. If we want to keep being a healthy alternative to reddit, freedom is the minimum i expect
