Gonna give you a chace to clarify, but are you defending child predation???

no anyone who has ever commited a crime should be stripped of all rightz and sent to the gulag until they die forever

This conversation is specifically about child predation. Do you think child predation is okay? Do you think it's comparable to just any crime? Honestly looking for your thoughts on this because your sarcasm isn't doing it

A straw man of the highest degree. No one is suggesting anything close to that. Tell me, what gulag is he residing in?

[–] captainlezbian@lemmy.world 36 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Ah yes those are the two options: no consequences and prison forever without rights. Definitely no attempts at rehabilitation with some punishment

[–] MaxVoltage@lemmy.world 2 points 1 year ago (1 children)

a yes losing the right to vote is a great rehabilitation

Did I say that I don’t support prisoner sufferage? I Support consequences but not necessarily the exact same ones my country insists on. I’ll go even further, I think carceral solutions should be treated as extreme.

Then Id be happy to tell you the Gulag hasnt existed since the 60's, so you can stop making dumbass comments! :)

The Gulag is real, it's real in our hearts.

You absolutely suck at sarcasm.

Calling it sarcasm is a poorly aimed compliment to assume they are so clever.
