I enjoyed Oppenheimer a lot more than The Imitation game, and I think part of it is having more context and showing more of the character's life and accomplishments. The Imitation game didn't even mention Turing machines or Turing completeness.

The Imitation Game even implies they're breaking Enigma and doesn't really emphasize Marian Rejewski, whereas Oppenheimer cameos most of the important names in the Alamo project.

I don't think the imitation game was a great movie I just think the story of Alan Turning was much more interesting. I also personally didn't care for the cameo style of character run down but that's not really something they could've avoided given how many people worked on it. It wouldn't be possible to give every single one an actual character.
