What is Critical Role?

Critical Role is a group of nerdy-ass voice actors who sit around and play Dungeons & Dragons.

Streams every Thursday at 7pm PT and then rebroadcasts the following Friday at 12am and 9am PT on Twitch.

I haven't watched ANY Candela Obscura episodes but this was a lot of fun to watch. I enjoy character creation although I wish we get more on why they decided on the relationships between the players (unless it's for mechanics only). Seeing this makes me want to watch the series a lot more.

I do hope they do something like this for the main campaigns even though they sometimes touch on these in other interviews or campaign wrap up, and maybe they just don't want to show their session 0/character creation to give them more freedom to play around without our eyes watching, but it sure does make good content.
