I self diagnosed my ADHD well in advance of my official diagnosis.
My best friend knew she had Lyme disease before the third or so doctor finally caught on.
It turns out that living in your body 24/7 gives you a pretty good insight as to what's going on in that body.
If people self-diagnosing mental issues bothers you, that could be because you feel that you can't self-diagnose yourself. If you HAD to assign yourself a neurodivergent diagnosis, what would it be?
