Flowers!

  • Brush: Stirling Soap Co. Zenith Boar Brush 31mm × 50mm
  • Razor: Dovo 41 Inox
  • Lather: Stirling Soap Co. Witchy Woman
  • Aftershave: Southern Witchcrafts/Shawn Maher Gravefruit 2
  • Fragrance: Chatillon Lux Yuzu/Rose/Patchouli
  • Talc: Pinaud Clubman Finest Powder

u/kind_simian's discovery of the secret behind his favourite Stirling scent reminded me of some of my lesser used Stirling scents. Witchy Woman is a fruity floral scent that I bought for my wife in the early days of joining the hobby in the hope to draw her in, too (That failed and she still doesn't use any of the nice wetshaving gear she has access to). Combining it with Gravefruit and YRP was more fun than I expected.

The Dovo is turning into one of my favourite razors. It's not as fancy as my 14s, W&Bs, or Bökers, but it feels like a rugged tool in comparison, and it's replaceable. Both the blade and the scales are stainless steel, so I just worry about it less that when using a 160 year old carbon steel blade in brittle horn scales.
