Somehow western liberals want us to reject the evidence we see and instead believe them when they claim China would be worse for us than the US.
China would never, ever, justify genocide or the hostile military occupation of other nations.
As long as you don't count their attacks on Tibet, filling in the sea between Hong Kong and Borneo for a military installation, occupying Hong Kong itself, their attacks on Taiwan, actual multiple ethnic cleansings within their borders, and their territory disputes with India and the Philippines.
