For me, I find barely perceptible sounds vastly more annoying than easily noticeable ones. Something about being just out of comfortable listening reach is extremely unnerving to me. So with that in mind, yeah, I often find a lot of modern "silent" tech to be way more annoying than their much louder earlier cousins. ๐คทโโ๏ธ
