Can you please confirm if you setup a static ip on the hub? It may be that as you powered it off and then on, it got a new ip from your router and home assistant doesn’t find where it expects it.
You were correct, though I couldn't find a way to update HA with the new IP. Ended up just re-configuring the Ikea integration, weirdly it's forgotten half my bulbs.
Yeah I find the integration plugins can be a bit iffy at times.
I think it might just be because I've renamed some of the lights some time since I set it all up, apparently it was fine with that until it tried to reconnect to them all!
I’d suggest integrating pihole in your home lan and have it do dhcp so you can reserve IPs to MAC address/devices with the added bonus of not having ads on your LAN :)
I did set up a pihole many years ago but it stopped working one day and I couldn't be bothered to keep tinkering as I've got adblocking on all my devices anyway. How simple is it to get configured and running smoothly nowadays?
It’s really super easy to install as they provide the curl command which will auto install and then have a cronjob to keep it up to date on its own
