This is a surprisingly weak article for a lefty publication. Its whole framing is neoliberal, and all it can manage to say about Prabowo's past is that he was "alleged" to have participated in the massacres in East Timor.
The Intercept was much more straightforward when it said:
People's dispatch is mostly short "tidbits" (lol I don't know what to call it). Generally under 10 minute reads. Thanks for linking this more in depth source comrade o7
No worries. It's hard to find good coverage of Indonesia in just about any English media!
