Monk works even with a t5 weapon? I thought you needed t1 armor and weapons.
Why did you take the blazing enchant if you didn't want it? Scroll of enchantment let's you pick from 3 choices.
I tried to play Monk with the cloth armor and gloves, but I really disliked the play style and ended up just deleting the save and starting over as champion. Maybe adding a t5 weapon will let me enjoy it. I like the utility of the dragon kick, but I hated using a wand or hitting something 35 times before it died.
Damn, I did not think about the SoE! I made 2 stones instead. Blazing without Brimstone is a PITA
Yes it is. It has cost me more than one game.
Thanks for the tip. After burning through a few more times, I used the last SoU to fix it. All was great again but I lost the game due to a stupid error due to lack of attention while targeted by Scorpios and Eyes... Could have used the armor's Challenge, or a full waterskin, but I did not realize I was on low health!
Demon halls and Dwarf prison are really dangerous because the enemies hit very hard. I move very intentionally there. You really want to hug the doorways, and use pillars and stuff to block line of sight. The wand of regrowth is great against the dwarf warlocks if you get caught out in the open, since you can block their line of sight and then snipe them or walk up to them.
