I just turned old years old and one of my kids got me a t-shirt that simply reads "i like birds."

and it's true... i like em a lot... ๐Ÿค“

seeing a group of cedar waxwings for the first time a couple weeks ago had me marveling like a child again...

and also saying... "i thought they'd be bigger" ๐Ÿ˜

I absolutely love ducks and own 10 of them. Any time I see ducks in the wild, I love identifying their breeds, or what breeds their parents were if they're hybrids. Muscovy ducks are my fave because they're just so happy. Totally act like dogs. I own three of them and they're a joy.

We raised ducks and geese for a good long while. My partner adored them. ๐Ÿ˜Š

They're amazing animals. One of my passions in life. I would love to have more, but I don't have the money or space lol.
