Army Chief of Staff Gen. James McConville is set to retire next week, while Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Mike Gilday will depart in mid-August.

It's wild seeing Democrats becoming the "conservative" party in the US. By conservative, I specifically mean they want to maintain the status quoe. Compared to overturning an election and overthrowing the federal government, anything the Democrats could possibly propose is conservative in comparison.

They already are. Republicans have been moving away from classical us style conservatism since reagan decided deficits don't matter.
