A ZWNJ is a zero-width non-joiner, probably abused to format / align their email correctly but not rendered in the notification.
I thought non-breaking space ( ) was translated to Polish or something
God we learned "tricks" like this in my HTML class. Last year. Just in case you're wondering why shit like this is still around.
"tricks" as in "cheating that will bite you in the ass later".
More likely it’s an attempt to get the preview text a lot of mailboxes show to not show extra content.
