On what planet? Petrol is currently about £1.43 per litre here in the uk {1.79 at motorway services} which costs £92 {£116} to fill up a petrol equivalent to our car (kia soul ev) while electricity is -20p per kWh at home (90% of charging) or -70p per kWh at a fast charger (rarely used) costing £13 to fill at home or £48 at a fast charger.

Utter bollocks propaganda.

You can actually charge at home for 14p per kWh if you charge overnight which is £8.96 to fill up - a tenth the price to fill up a petrol equivalent.

Same here in the states. I charge my car for $0.10/kWh which works out to about $5 for a full charge. A 15-gallon tank costs around $60 to fill. Utter bullshit propaganda article.
