It is more a matter of convenience and saving time.

$100 gets you on the list that matchmakers working for the $800 and $4,000 tiers find a match from. It isn't for hookups, relationships only. So instead of swiping and going on dates that won't go anywhere because those swipe profiles are lacking meat and fraught with deceptions, you only go on dates with people that could actually be a match for a long-term partner. The $4,000 tier can also have dates planned and sorted out that both people will enjoy, so it is less hassle and bad date spots. So you avoid taking a vegan to a restaurant that surprisingly doesn't have vegan options.

Not to mention the whole background check part, so you will be more likely to avoid a bad situation.

There is a money-back guarantee, but I don't know how solid a deal that is or if it only functionality applies to the higher tiers.
