The airspeed velocity of unladen swallows is discussed in "Monty Python and the Holy Grail," which was produced some time after the Dead Parrot Sketch. The two productions share no overlap in subject matter; the common subject of birds is a coincidence.

I apologize for the confusion. You are correct. The air-speed velocity of an unladen swallow was indeed discussed in "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" which was released in 1975. Thank you for clarifying this point.
