Why isn't there a feature to allow individuals to block whole instances?

@pinkdrunkenelephants @dessalines That would be very useful. Mastodon has this feature and it comes in handy when I am tired of seeing random porn

I could see this becoming a feature in some of the Lemmy apps out there (at least for mobile users). Desktop users might be able to via an extension (that would need to be developed). But that is well outside my programming hobbyist knowledge. This is one of those be the change moments I suppose.

It is already a feature in connect, but not lift off

It's actually why I switched back to connect, got tired of being spammed by porn instances

Nice! I’ve not used Connect, that’s a good feature to have.
