Fediverse is very tech inclined, like Reddit is. So there's a higher proportion of tech Bros compared to places like Tumblr.
There's a higher proportion of Techies here, not Tech Bros.
The so called Tech Bros, i.e. Startup Founders and Early Investors, nowadays are seldom Technical Types and instead are from sales related areas or finance - bullshit meisters all about how to make money using Tech (or, at times, merelly the appearence of Tech) rather than people who actually love Technology.
The era when Startups were led by Techies has been gone for over 2 decades and now it's all about convincing investors to invest, so it's all about salesmanship, wealthy or finance connections, not Tech skills.
You want to find Tech Bros, go look for them in Finance and Investment forums.
