Can't stand those N64 styled visuals. After the beautiful pixel art on the SNES, I feel the early 3D era was one of the worst times for video game graphics.
I personally loved the N64 style. Psx, on the other hand, was a bit rough.
I love it. Low poly and horror really belong together in my mind. Probably for similar reasons as your own
This is more Saturn, but yeah, they were all rough and ugly pioneers.
The Saturn never really reached enough sales where I'd consider it mainstream enough to mention it.
It was huge in Japan.
Still got its ass kicked by the PS1, but who didn't.
