Unsurprisingly the entire cast except darkness overextend their stay, gotta feel bad for her having to drag this party around high circles.

I already suspected the thief was Chris really given all the info we had suspecting her was just natural, if only because she is the only named thief we know in the show and has already been seen stealing from Kazuma this season. I do wonder who her client is and what they want with these cheat artifacts, I do have a suspicion but I'm not sure since it's based on a single spoiler I was exposed to once.

Kazuma changing his mind about fighting the demon lord army in order to cheat his way to glory is also very Kazuma of him, granted I think having Megumin on that battlefield is bound to produce interesting results.

I urgently need more of this.

I think you and I might have been exposed to the same spoiler in the past. With the benefit of hindsight, there is a clue here and there if you know what to look for, but I can pretty confidently say that I would not have been able to piece it together on my own at this point.

Sounds about right, it's one of those where you go "uh what?" and look back at all the subtle hints and things that suddenly get extra meaning or make more sense
