Piracy is good and you should do more of it. Use https://aniwave.to/ and https://4anime.gg/ for streaming, and https://nyaa.si/ for torrents. Piracy is the only means of digital protest that audiences have to fight poor worker treatment.

Show is Yoru no Kurage wa Oyogenai - Jellyfish can't swim in the night

Probably spoilers. Last warning.

spoilerHere: https://yorukura.fandom.com/wiki/Kiui_Watase

I did this based on this scene from episode 11: https://streamable.com/oq226r

Comrade Kiui is FtM.

Not only that but his name "Watase" splits into "Wata" which means "crossing" or "ferry," often used in Japanese names to imply traversing a river or similar feature, hinting at transitions or change. While "se" meaning "rapids" or "change" is also another blatantly huge clue.

I haven't worked out what Kiui might reference, it's written in Katakana and some think it's the Kiwi bird. I don't know if this is related or not, someone else might.

Mahiru is the only person with whom Kiui feels comfortable discussing the past without reservation, and (s)he's always willing to help her/his dear friend.

I'm too autistic to figure out if the last line is referring to Mahiru or Kiui?

Ahh hmm. That's probably referring to Mahiru? I think.

That's also what I was thinking, in which case it should be she/her.
