Unfortunately I've seen enough of the news from the South - it seems to be all about telling the children they don't matter, their education doesn't matter, their whole identity doesn't matter. One step behind that is the same treatment given to women. What is hard for me to swallow is that so many men all over this country (well, and the world) are so insecure in themselves that their only outlet is to stomp down everyone else. In the broad scheme of things Boebert doesn't really have any power except as a comedian, and I do appreciate the fact that I live in a place where I have the luxury to complain about someone so inconsequential. I hope other states can find some sanity in the next election but I'm not holding my breath.
