KYC exchanges, are going to be worse than traditional bank accounts.

That's madness. Asking people to prove where funds come from + their identity for finally freezing their savings like that.

I can't have sympathy for this guy. Even if you're the kind of person that doesn't mind exchanges, it is basic fiscal responsibility to split your large wealth up into multiple places

these are the kind of nerds that dont have any responsibility, they just trade crypto for the lulz and dont know anything about how crypto works.

Maybe it's a lot to you, but what makes you think he didn't split up his wealth? The guy probably has millions split up in various accounts.
