Good for him. Always hard to see a struggling youngster getting booted out, hope he has more luck in Indy.
Agreed. I should really spend a bit of reaearch time but it seems there are many drivers that do well in F3/F2 etc and then completely bomb in F1. I wounder whats the difference that results in such significant difference in performance.
It's probably partly due to the step up in machinery (and how different each team's car is compared to the lower formulae) but I reckon it's more to do with the pressure of being at "the top" - you're not a junior anymore, this is the real thing and it's perform or die
