Not all X-ians believe that, but feeding your own kid to an idiotic religious mob so they can have him tortured to death by the government is really fucked up. I think their invisible, tyrannical, despotic sky wizard needs to go into family counseling either way.
I also get hung up on the fact that the supposed good guy in the story drowned an entire planet.
I wonder if Bible ever says God is the good guy
He's almighty, and that's why people follow Him without question, but is He good?
The Torah, the Psalms endlessly praise God as being "good", the word of the Lord being "perfect" etc
