Electric bikes have their own environmental and health advantages. However, riding for long distances – if you’re not a pro – or when planning to go off the tarmac, an e-bike is not the best companion. Before you look for a capable pickup truck – that’ll never be the first choice for a city commute

That derailleur is about to get wrecked...

That thing is dangling so low they could have stuck some rubber on it and called it a quad bike.

I'm also not understanding "the trike’s 750W rear-mount motor ensures up to 1,400W of power"

Probably continuous vs peak power. I've seen brands advertise this very unethically - Lectric has done this. "Ours is 1400W, the competition is only 750W!"

Or advertising the peak in-rush current or whatever instead of the continuous allowable power? A 750W motor probably pulls 1400 watts for a split second as it starts up under load.

At first I thought they were getting stuff wrong about the battery, but that later say 960 Wh battery.

They do not specifically mention it, but I'm going to assume gear ratio?

Ebikes, scooters, longboards: Whatever floats your goat, this is all things micromobility!

"Transportation using lightweight vehicles such as bicycles or scooters, especially electric ones that may be borrowed as part of a self-service rental program in which people rent vehicles for short-term use within a town or city.

micromobility is seen as a potential solution to moving people more efficiently around cities"

It's a little sad that we need to actually say this, but:

Don't be an asshole or you will be permanently banned.

Respectful debate is totally OK, criticizing a product is fine, but being verbally abusive will not be tolerated.

Focus on discussing the idea, not attacking the person.
