Quartering soldiers is very different than putting an aa emplacement on your roof.

True, but if you look up relevant case law it more often than not sides with temporary emplacements still being a violation of the 5th amendment when emplaced without due process and just compensation. 🤷‍♂️ The amendments are significantly old, and are meant to be interpreted in modern contexts. You can't take them at face "this is what is written" value.
