I thought their mice are fairly good quality.

The discontinued my favorite mouse though.

I also fucking hate their new software. Why the fuck did they change it again?

Agreed, their software is utter garbage.
There's the Onboard Memory Manager though, which does everything you would ever want without the gloss, bullshit and bugs:
