While writing these lines, the Jays are 7W-8L and last in the AL East.

I know, I know, it's still early. This is the Jays' motto.

For those who have watched some or all of the games so far, what are your thoughts about the team, your projections?

Not necessarily killing it but the future is geared towards AI and machine learning. People and companies working in that sector don't mind dishing out 3K$ for a GPU, leaving desktop PC gamers in the dust.

Aside from Nvidia, I bought a 7800XT last Christmas. No drivers issues at all and plays almost everything at 1440p/120fps on medium-to-high settings. Don't forget Intel's upcoming in the GPU industry as well.

Exactly the same here, we were renting up until 2018 at 900$CAD/month. Our mortgage is 950$CAD/month and our old apartment is now 1200$CAD/month. All expenses included, it's s more expensive to rent than to own.

First time buyers can't hardly get a mortgage now unless you were stashing cash or staying at your parents' for a while.

I believe you should go with someone who really wants it first. Then look at their activity on Lemmy, are they a mod for other instances/communities, how much free time do they have etc.

Make a clearer choice then.

Not that I wouldn't be interested in the position but I work night shifts and most threads are posted during the day, making me kind of useless/really late on problematic stuff.

And the 5090 probably starting at 3200$ CAD.

As someone from outside the USA, I'm surprised a state flag looks this good. I dig it.

I can't wait to just skip that game completely. As more stuff is revealed and as we approach the release date of Feb 16th, the more I believe the game will be a massive letdown.

In this current article is discussed the slow respawn rate of necessary items for in-game progression and people queuing to get them. REALLY rewarding for casual players (<30mins playtime per day).

Funny price tag from a company that recently told its player base that owning games is becoming obsolete.

Interesting.

I loved playing Dead Cells, I will surely get this one once it's out.

However, another website that spells rogue as rouge. Being a French-Canadian, I always read rougelike as "similar to the color red".

Exactly. They're maybe the minority but every one who played D2 and D3 with me along the years have given up on D4 after a month. They preferred going back to D2R.

I wonder what % of the player base has disappeared from the game since launch.

It's never too late to learn a language. However, French is one hell of a step coming from English.

French is my main language and even if I've been speaking it for close to 40 years now, I still learn language exceptions and rules today.

Still, I'd give it a go if I were you, learning something new is always fun. Enjoy!

Hello PC Gaming community.

With this post I kind of want to poll the Steam gamers here; how important are your or your friends' Steam stats to you?

By that, I mean total playtime, badges, level, number of achievements etc.

For exemple, I have a colleague that keeps boasting about his playtime and expertise on a particular game (which is over 3000 hours). However, whenever I log in Steam, he's always online running that game (even when he's actually at work). I have trouble grasping the utility of artificially inflating your numbers if you only played the game for maybe 10% of that amount.

Thanks in advance!

Germany's Chancellor, Olaf Scholz, had a jogging incident and is wearing an eye patch to cover the bruises. The picture just screams "use me for good memes".

Good, let it rot at the bottom.

If only shareholders could see what is happening and change their mind on what is a good, appealing game (à la BG3).

I'll keep dreaming.
