Normally you don't even need AUR for that since it's a core package for Arch. Unless Manjaro did something weird, you should be able to install it via pacman.

However I checked Manjaro packages and glib2-devel is the same version with Arch. Maybe try a whole system update before adding new packages?

I guess it's time to try Hyprland again.

Looks a bit overkill but sounds like a great laptop.

It's just an accent colour and can be changed.

Last time I saw kernel panic I was on 2.6. I don't think I'll ever see him. :(

Sorry but being held responsible for what your ancestors did is bullshit. The very same bullshit as trying to reclaim the land your ancestors had. Both are not mine, it's in the past and I have nothing to do with it.

Also, it is most likely that everyone's ancestors did some bad things. Sad but it is a process in the human history.

There is a problem with GTX 1xxx cards (1660Ti in my case) running Proton 8+ for quite some time due to Nvidia driver, they're unusable. Because of this even Experimental and GE branches are useless for me.

To be fair, Proton 7 is mostly enough. However, I cannot play one of my games after its update and it's working fine with Proton 8 according to other people.

So, is there a workaround for this or I should wait for Nvidia's Vulkan updates?

Don't know if we already have this but if not, this could be a new breath for running away from Google's polluted, hard to find any real useful stuff SEO World. With Kagi's optimization for activity pub, it's easier to find content within the Federation. With a blog system that supports activity pub, people can get interaction from Mastodon, Lemmy, PeerTube etc. And the best part is, you can do all these stuff with your self-hosted sites.

If we already have this, please let me know.

For BG3, don't search something about it, just start and play. You don't need to know anything prior, however it's a role-playing game so play accordingly what kind of character you created. You can save-scumming if you want if some desicion you made leads to something bad, though they all the part of the game. Just play and experience.

For games like Overwatch, it isn't complicated at all. It just requires you to play it constantly and learn counter measures just by playing. Learning them is the fun part, overthinking about them not so much.

To be fair when I see "complex game" part, I was kinda expexting some advanced building games, something like Factorio, maybe RimWorld.

Anyway, also you don't have to like any games even if they are overwhelmingly positive titles. Just find what you like and dig in.
