I swear people's brains disappear when they see a yellow light. "I'll have to wait a full minute!? I better run this red light and risk a lifetime of pain and disability!"

Admittedly, the measures in place did not seem to work as intended. The light should have gone red before the truck had a chance to enter the intersection, and the sign should alert the driver that their truck is too large to go under the bridge. However, that doesn't stop everyone: https://youtu.be/-VokezIMLKE

The description mentioned the pedestrian crossing somehow disrupted the warning lights.
