This dude sounds truly odious. Hopefully this will make other people think twice before harassing folks like this.

It’s all the anti-woke rhetoric the right wing places have been spouting lately. He is just a symptom of a larger national problem. More people like him will be cropping up that take those words to heart. We need an end to the culture war nonsense.

Gaming has had a problem long before the current anti-woke culture war. This started way back with GamerGate.

You can trace a direct line from GamerGate through to Brexit, Trump becoming US president, and the formation of the "alt-right", "incel" and "anti-woke" movements. GamerGate was essentially the testing grounds.

Do default judgements usually hold a lot of weight when considering precedent?

Bungie's been winning a lot of lawsuits recently, they got anything else we should expect to see a result on soon?

Fuck that. The government shouldnt be punishing people for free speech

[–] Loupsius@sh.itjust.works 8 points 1 year ago (1 children)

That wasn’t free speech, that was harassment.

Harassment is free speech

Have you ever contributed anything useful to anyone ever?

[–] MomoTimeToDie@sh.itjust.works 2 points 1 year ago

Plenty more than the losers who oppose free speech
