It's like you're going to buy something from a store and you get a free nasty gift like black licorice candy or something like that and you throw it as soon as you get out of the store.

Poor Payne they didn't have to do him like that, he's a decent player

He's no marquee player, don't think he has much on defense but guy can shoot the 3 and do ok offensively with 5apg off the bench, plenty of contenders would pick him up for a run. I seem to remember him as a guy who played up a level than where your expect from a bench player.

Fully expect it's because he doesn't want a slow rebuild or doesn't like the role he'd be offered there. Waive likely SAS courtesy.

I remember this guy torching the Lakers outta nowhere.....I don't know what exactly happened but if the Spurs got rid of him, he's kinda done.
