What is Critical Role?

Critical Role is a group of nerdy-ass voice actors who sit around and play Dungeons & Dragons.

Streams every Thursday at 7pm PT and then rebroadcasts the following Friday at 12am and 9am PT on Twitch.

Daggerheart | Live One Shot | Open Beta

The Menagerie is returning! Join game master Matthew Mercer as he leads the cast of Critical Role through a LIVE One-Shot using the Daggerheart system!

Though Daggerheart is still in Beta testing, we hope this one-shot can give insight into how the game can be played.

Oh, I didn't know they were doing more Daggerheart one-shots, and LIVE again! I haven't watched the first one, only watched the character creation, so I guess I should watch that today and catch the live tomorrow

I liked the one shot. Looked like they had fun making the characters (Ashley's cigarillo staff killed me). I did a write up with timestamps on it, if it helps. I had the Holding Out For A Hero song stuck in my head for a week and laughing about Marisha's character's distraction appearing so epic and musical in her imagination.
